I was in a delivery room with a Doctor, nurses, and mom. She was mocking me in how I felt sure that Demerol was going to be fine for pain management.
"You won't feel anything below your thighs!" She laughed.
Next thing I know, I awaken in a regular room. KNSD is lightly playing over the TV, and a nurse is taking my vitals. There is no mention of a baby. She kind of looks down below to make sure everything is good. She tells me that I've bled through, pulls out another pad, and sticks it into the waistband of my hospital underwear. After she leaves, I get up, barely able to feel my own legs, and waddle towards the bathroom. I realize I brought mondo pads in my overnight bag and I want to compare hospital pads to regular ones. KNSD is having a contest for new moms. I say, "Kudos."
I open the bag once back in the bathroom, also with the baby gifts (no color was defined), and find that the pad offered to me by the nurse is a Kotex brand light days pantyliner.
I look up, and say, "That's not going to do much."
And then, I wake up.

This blog is hilarious and genius! I've been having nightmares for like a week straight. It is no fun. I also dream about my exes a lot. Bla.

I feel your pain. I dreamt about this sort of ex of mine on and off for about 2 years. I've mentioned them in this blog once or twice.
