When I was younger, wind drove me to the ends of my sanity. And when you've been raised in Southern California at this time of year, with Santa Ana's that cause widespread fire and destruction, they're scary things. In Oregon, it meant the possibility of tornadoes and the windows rattled bad. In New Hampshire, it meant one of two things:
A). It's winter and there's a snow squall occurring outside your window
--OR--
B). It's summer/fall and you're having a typical New England thunderstorm.
Either way, it means I am guilty about something.
