September 27 Dream

I had a dream again, involving this guy I knew in school. I was in a house with my grandma and one of my sisters. We were talking, and then there is my friend/crush from school. He is much like he had been the last few years we were talking, and he was discussing two types of people:
  1. Ones who like potatoes
  2. Those who dislike potatoes
I chimed in at the same time as him, and said, "You're the type that hates potatoes." I am looking at him, feeling complete and utter disdain for how he has treated me, and yet I am also finding myself unable to be unhappy with him.

And then, I woke up.

God, I miss him.

A Dream About Alexander Skarsgård

I was going to the mall, to an opening of a new Bath & Body Works (in case there aren't any in Europe, they're basically a store that carries bath and body care products), which took over a bookstore or something along those lines. Because this is a weird dream, I also have to bring a "housewarming gift" with me.

Once at the mall, I go into what is supposed to be the store, but it's an office space. You have to wait for someone from the store itself to open the doors for you, so you can go in (weird, but just you wait). I walk into the store, which is a bluish color, and full of little lip balms in baskets. I am carrying around my "housewarming gift," as a male associate makes his way towards me. He had greeted me when I came in, and was very interested in me. I just got that vibe from him in the dream, especially with how he looked at me or spoke to me. I hand him the basket, but not before removing my own items that I had left inside it.

This is where things get interesting:

Alexander is standing outside the storefront, staring at me and the associate through a blue plate-glass window. He is apparently my boyfriend, and he runs off, causing me to chase him. I am yelling for him to stop running, but he's feet ahead of me (on account of his being 6'4" to my short 5'5" height). He turns to me as he's running, and chucks the green apple he'd been eating at me. It hits me in the forearm, which instantly bruises me.

"Alex! Do you realize those damn apples hurt?"

He just keeps running. By this point, the store associate has caught up with me, and continues running after Alexander (because I have slowed down to check on my arm); screaming that he ought to come back and apologize. Alex takes another apple he was eating as he ran, and throws it at the guy from Bath & Body Works, who has the same reaction as me.

It was after this, I awoke.

I am going to analyze this. I may post the results.

Another Dream Featuring Eoin Macken

I was in a restaurant with my parents, overlooking a menu that had all these weird food and meat selections. I noticed about thirty seconds into doing this that adjacent to my mom was Eoin sitting at a table with some friends.

Shirtless, no less.

I begged my parents not to look, even though I was freely staring. He didn't notice, thank god. At some point, he decides to stand up and pace around the table, impatiently waiting for something.

He notices me, and starts glancing my way. I act nonchalant, trying to act as if I don't notice him looking my way. My parents are getting anxious, even though they're fully occupied by the menus. Internally, I'm going crazy because he's glancing at me, pacing and getting closer to my table.

And then, there he was. My parents are sitting there, mouths agape. He leans over my shoulder, pointing out various items he likes, leaning up against me without his shirt on and talking so close to my ear it sends tingles down my spine. I look over at him, and nod along, just smiling.

The waitress passes by, and Eoin goes back to his table. As I continue pouring over the menu, I realize it's a breakfast menu, and it is lunchtime. The waitress comes back to the table, and my parents tell her the menus are for breakfast. She sits down at the table, looks through them, and comes to the same conclusion. She sighs, and goes to get the lunch/dinner menus.

It's at this point I wake up, hoping that I actually was dreaming of Eoin Macken.

I would describe his look as this: nice-looking jeans (meaning no holes), shirtless, watch, his necklace, and he had a beard like the one in the photo from Twitter.

August 6 Dream

I was packed into a truck, in the backseat with a pregnant woman, some other woman, and possibly Patrick's (an old friend) sister. Patrick and his "dad" were in the front.

We end up at a hospital, to drop off the pregnant woman. We all take turns hugging her goodbye and wishing her good luck.* At that point, she was going to have the baby alone. But only Patrick, his dad and I were in the truck when we drove off. Since this was a lucid dream, I made up that his mom and sister didn't want her to be alone.

Patrick and his dad are driving me home. We're now in Littleton (where I lived from 2000-2008--in New Hampshire) at the junction of Main and Union Street, at the light on Cottage Street. Two tour buses are turning towards us (which if you've ever been to Littleton, you would know is nearly impossible--the streets aren't wide enough for the traffic, not that that stops anyone). We keep freaking out, but the buses get by without incident.

We then end up in the back parking lot of the Main Street stores (unfortunately, no pictures of the back parking lot), driving down some road that bypasses town (there is an actual road that does this, but this is not the route we took). I am noticing the weather, which seems to be an overcast autumn afternoon. I begin laughing and remarking * that only four things have changed in Littleton, everything else has stayed the same. Patrick remarks that the road leading to my house (which is actually a bike trail/riverwalk--no cars admitted) is now painted green. I change my tune and say five things have changed.

We end up at my house, which isn't the house I lived in while I lived in Littleton. Patrick walks me to the door. His dad is parked down the street (I have no idea why), and is hidden by a vast amount of trees.

At this point, I end the dream, not wishing to pursue it further.

Patrick is about sixteen in this dream, and I have no idea how old I was. It's the last age I saw Patrick in person (I moved from California to Littleton the year we would have been 17).
At some point in the whole bus/going home adventure, Patrick's dad makes some joke, which made me laugh and Patrick cringe. I remember I leaned my head against the back of Patrick's seat when I laughed. Also while driving through the shortcut, it was like a dead-end they had created. Patrick's dad drove over the road blocks (which looked like rubber cane tips) in order to drive on the riverside road (which as previously stated, you couldn't).
* In reality, driving me home via Cottage St. would have been the easiest, since you have to pass the street I lived on to get to Main Street. Driving around Main Street was traffic-heavy and difficult (especially in the autumn, during the height of foliage season).

January 20, 2006 Dream

I have been searching high and low for this dream, and I finally found it in a folder in a binder full of stuff that used to adorn my walls and notebooks when I lived in New Hampshire.

I was shopping in the mall with my sister and mom. My sister wanted to go in a store where I was thrown out for some unknown reason. So I told them I was going to the personal beauty store a few rows down.

I walked in, and there was Tré Cool from Green Day, and a bunch of other men who ignored my presence. I was looking at eye shadow, when Tré Cool comes up, and tells me that those colors wouldn't coordinate with my "pretty brown eyes." So in my weirdly unnatural flirting style, I asked his opinion. He points out a few, and I grab a few.

"Now this," he whispers, "is what you need."

A set of make-up.

I go for this kit with my neutral lip color, and Tré grabs it from my hand.

"No, it will white you out. Try this."

The lip colors are a light pink and a deeper mauve. Tré then opens up a series of lip glosses, and proceeds to pile them on my lips. So here I am, standing in front of the drummer of Green Day who I find attractive, with pink and purple gunk on my lips.

"You look beautiful, Colleen," he laughs.

I see my mom and sister coming, so I wave. Tré looks in their direction and quickly focuses on me. He piles on some clear gloss, caps it, and smoothes the gloss out a bit on my lips. Next thing I know, I am making out with Tré Cool. He is literally spreading the gloss onto my lips by making out with me.

I could feel every sensation while I was sleeping during this dream, and it was fantastic!

June 29 Dream #1

Actually, this is dream #2, but since I am writing of it first, it's #1.

In this dream, I am in a break room, full of people.  I cannot say what I do for a living, other than that I have a job.  Suddenly, there is John Krasinski looking at me in such a way that I smile widely.  I walk over to him, and I say something cheeky (I can't remember what I said).  He smiles that Jim Halpert smile, and magically a book appears in his hand.

"I think the time has come for me to read a poem to you."  He flips open the book, walks closer to me, and I take off.  I run around the seemingly-large break room, lots of people sitting around us, oblivious to what is happening.  I am laughing, and screeching for him to get away from me, while he shouts titles of poems behind me.

"The Iliad, Sonnet 116, Indian Serenade, She Walks In Beauty!"  Finally, he catches on to what is happening, and changes his direction, trying to cut me off at the pass.  I get tired, and just stop dead by where he was sitting.  He walks back up to me, and says, "What'll it be?"

In my mind, I briefly thought of Sonnet 116, but I woke up before the dream was done.  I do know that John and I were dating, but doing so in secret.
